Meet Dr. Jesse Skinner
Dedicated Veterinarian & Proud Veteran
Hi, I’m Dr. Jesse Skinner, the proud owner and veterinarian at Happy Tails Veterinary Clinic. Born and raised right here in Palm Beach County, I’ve always felt a deep connection to this community—and now, I’m honored to serve it by providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary care.
Before becoming a veterinarian, I had the privilege of serving in the U.S. Army, deploying to Afghanistan from 2004-2005. That experience instilled in me a strong sense of discipline, resilience, and dedication—qualities I bring to my work every day.
After returning home, I pursued my education at Florida Atlantic University, graduating Cum Laude, and went on to earn my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from North Carolina State University in 2016. In my senior year, I was honored to receive awards for Excellence in Surgery and General Practice, recognizing my passion for both medicine and hands-on patient care.
Outside the clinic, I enjoy working out, training in Jiu-Jitsu, and surfing, but my greatest joy comes from spending time with my beautiful wife and two wonderful daughters. Family is everything to me, and I strive to make Happy Tails Veterinary Clinic feel like an extension of that—where pets and their families always come first.
